ASA AND THE INDIGO TREE

a story by Eduardo Alvarez

Asa must follow his dream in order to save his world.

Eduardo Alvarez

As a human being, I have always been a sort of hermit.
What began in 2013, as a fun and creative way to explain to my niece and nephew who I was inside, turned into a four book project.
Now, after all these years, both my family and Asa’s have grown and multiplied.
It brings joy to my heart to share this story with the world.

Book 1 | A New Seed

The fate of a surviving colony (Patch 23Y) rests on the hands of the Yarni children. Before restoring their world (Yarno) they must work together to heal one of their own (Ami). Learning to sow is their only hope.

Book 2 | The Mending Machine

Allowing a machine to do the work of the heart turned out to be a great mistake. Ian, the mastermind behind Mending Corp.  and the one responsible for nearly destroying Yarno, must learn to forgive himself so that his ideas can heal puppets once again.

Book 3 | Asa and the Indigo Tree

A yarn world (Yarno), is attempting to play with fire. Only the hearts of those puppets (the Yarni) who follow their dreams can bring balance and save Yarno from an unimaginable catastrophe; the entire universe is watching.

Book 4 | Hearts of Mia

First generation puppet, Navi, carries the story of Mia. It is through his teachings that the Yarni are able to remember why they dream, and why they carry a heart.

Rodrigo Herrera

Better known as Rodrigomaru, the man behind extracting Asa and his world from my imagination and drawing it on paper.
